FROM: pehusa@aol.com April 2002. Creative alteration to a petty officers' dungaree insignia included a bat that replaced the standard eagle. Apparently the alteration was so subtle as to remain an inside joke with several of the Officers, Chiefs, and members of the VAW-11 detachment. [Contributed by J. Rooney]
