VERTEBRATE RESEARCH PROJECTS IN PEDERSENS LAB

OPPORTUNITIES EXIST for Undergraduate and Graduate-level Laboratory Research Projects concerning some aspect of vertebrate morphology/anatomy. Highly motivated students are welcome to apply for course-credit at SDSU. Depending on the amount of time spent in the laboratory (and project content), up to 6-hours of course-credit can be earned towards your degree.

OPPORTUNITIES EXIST for Undergraduate and Graduate-level Field Research Projects. Projects should concern some aspect of non-game mammalian biology in South Dakota, but all projects concerning vertebrates, ecology, and/or morphology will be entertained. See below for some previous work completed in my lab.

SUMMER RESEARCH - This is not a formal field course. However, highly-motivated students who wish to (1) learn more vertebrate biology, (2) get involved in an active research program, and (3) learn number of field-census techniques, and are welcome to apply for course-credit at SDSU. Up to 6-hours of SDSU course-credit can be earned towards your degree. Students are expected to contribute significantly to the research and help summarize the data.
